Positive: Location, surrounded by nature and close to Hocking Hills State park. Reasonably priced. 2 bed / 2 bath. Loft bedroom had an on suite bathroom. Hot tub was a great way to relax after hiking. Lots of bath towels provided.kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dish ware.

Negative: The loft has a space that a small child or dog could fall through to the living area below.Jacuzzi tub didn’t work. Steps to loft needs a longer banister to go all the way to the top.Oven was dirty. Stovetop was cracked and some burners didn’t work. Dining room light didn’t work. Both bathrooms doors were warped and couldn’t be closed completely. Tiny bars of hand soap were all that was provided hospitality wise for bathing. Wood floors are in need of sanding and refinishing. There were a few spots that were cracked or had an open knot hole that could trip you. Wall paper was peeling. Place needs some upgrades better cleaning, and TLC.

Positive: My brother and I both agreed that this place was absolutely amazing! The accommodations were very comfortable and clean, and the property around the cabin was very well taken care of! Very close to every trail in Hocking hills that we could think of while we were there, And even though it's slightly hidden, the driveway was actually quite easy to find. Thank you hemlock hideaway for helping two siblings have an amazing birthday weekend! 🙏🥳🎉

Positive: We loved the secluded location and large yard for our dog. We also loved the front and back porch and the hot tub.

Negative: It would have been nice to have a few extra towels, blankets and pillows.

Negative: Water has sulfer so recommend buying bottled water for drinking (available at nearby Grandma Faye's store). Shockingly steep gravel driveway.
